Queste sono le parole di Frans Van Meurs, l\u2019allora direttore dell\u2019Orfanotrofio, in una lettera al suo architetto, datata Capodanno 1954.<\/p>\n L\u2019edificio, progettato da Aldo van Eyck e costruito tra il 1957 e il 1960, \u00e8 celebre sin dalla sua nascita in quanto testimonianza di \u201cun\u2019altra idea\u201d di architettura (Izak Salomons, Built with colour. The Netherlands Court of audit by Aldo and Hannie Van Eyck \u2013 OIO, pag. 85).
